Soldiers would be weak in a battle if they had poorly maintained weapons. In pipeline industry, machinery and equipment are like weapons. Without well-performed equipment, we wouldn’t be able to achieve the requirements in projects.

    The purpose of equipment-checking program is to summarize what we have encountered in the past, and be prepared whenever the equipment is needed. In order to do so, pressure-testing branch invited professional staffs in Equipment department and QHSE department to participate in the program.

     The result of equipment-checking program was satisfying. Most of the equipment was in place, and well maintained. Although there were a few problems, the branch has declared that they would prevent the problems, improve the quality of maintenance, and be well prepared whenever it is needed.

    Pressure testing branch takes the program seriously because they know how much the equipment is valued to their work. To build a solid foundation for the construction, highly functional equipment is necessary and curial.
